the economy is crumbling and people in general have less money in their pockets these days, so what does the SHITTY of Los Angeles do??? (Amongst other things i assure you) without any notice or signage, they raise the price of parking on Ventura Blvd. from 25 cents per hour to 25 cents per 15 minutes.
now that doesn't sound like a lot does it??? but it is a one time increase of 4 times the old fucking rate. That's like walking into a store today to buy a can of soda and finding out the fucking thing costs over $4 fucking dollars!!! or like buying a first class stamp at the post office and finding out the stamp now costs $1.50!!! That is the most ridiculous price increase i have ever seen in a single shot, in anything, even gas doesn't QUADRUPLE overnight!!!
It used to cost me 35 cents to park for an hour and fifeteen minutes when i went to the gym, now it costs me $1.25!!! Not that i really give a fuck about the $1.25, but who the fuck has FIVE fucking quarters in their pocket??? its terribly inconvenient as well!!!
But lets look at the real damage done by the cities fucking lack of respect for its residents, it will shorten the time people will spend shopping and whatnot on Ventura Blvd, not even because people might not be able to afford $2.00 for two hours of shopping, but who the fuck will have EIGHT quarters handy??? Thats like doing fucking laundry isn't it??? Or maybe like getting taken to the cleaners???
So the trickle down effect of this bullshit move by our obnoxious city gov't will be to decrease the daily sales numbers of already struggling retail businesses!!!
BUT i guess if it goes to helping provide 401K and benefits for fucking jack ass civil servant workers such as the parking enforcement assholes it must all be worth it...
Just like ANY socialist gov't, our gov't makes up for ALL it's shortfalls by just raising taxes and charges to it's people without any notice, taxes and charges that i might add are coming out of your POST tax income. I already paid my taxes didn't it? and in this one bullshit move, the City (or SHITTY as i like to call em) just found a way to take another $25 per month from me since i go to the gym almost everyday, and i cant get a deduction for it, so i've been taxed twice....hell if you wanna throw the sales tax on my gym membership, i've been taxed three times on my money even after i paid my income tax....)
And then the SHITTY writes us way more parking tickets than any socialist country i know of.....and this whole thing is just about a parking FEE or TAX.....i dont have time nor the finger strength to run down everything, like our PHONE BILLS for example....the phone company fee is like $12 dollars per month or some shit like hat, but the bill is $35 isn't it? that other $23 per month is all gov't related bullshit fees, again, coming out of YOUR POST TAX INCOME!!!
