something wicked this way comes...

hmmmm....the Auto industry bailout bill is having a hard time getting through, maybe because its completely disorganized and they don't really have a plan. And by "they" i mean the government supplying OUR fucking tax money, and the "exercise in futility" otherwise known as the U.S. Auto industry.

I'm not going to get too deep into the facts here because it doesn't really matter, not enough people are going to read this that it will make any difference, and not enough people are ever going to rise up to let THEIR voices be heard, although november 4th of this year sort of renewed my faith in the chance that people actually do want to be heard. 

But the simple version is this, the auto industry has said they need a minimum of $28 Billion to help them get through like the next year. "The next year????" and then what??? more money? this is exactly why i say just let them die.

So then the government plan comes along, YOUR government plan for YOUR money. They propose $14 Billion. Why? The industry has already said they need a minimum of $28 Billion (for what nobody really knows either, for the first several weeks of their request they actually had NO PLAN for the money at all, NOTHING!!!! no more of a plan than you have for that money, literally!!!!)

So why give them $14 Billion when they already said that isn't enough?

why give them anything? it's like life support, just pull the fucking plug already, or better yet just don't HELP them live, let them die on their own. This is a capitalist society, the little man is crushed all the time by capitalism, which is a "Survival of the fittest" system. It always has been. When i get into financial trouble a capitalist government does not come to my rescue, nor should it here.

If they are in fact going to come to a socialist rescue of the auto industry and the banking industry, both private industries where executives are paid hundreds of millions of dollars each, then they might as well take the steps necessary to play a larger role in the finances and economics of all it's private citizens, because its only fair.

If my tax money is going to help people that have TRIED to succeed in business but FAILED, i'd like some of that money too. not that i've failed, but the current economic swing has completely cut off my income.

in these hard times, wouldn't you like some of that money too???

Many retail businesses are already down 80% in their most recent postings, 80%!!! the trade deficeit for the U.S. is ballooning, no body wants our crap and the world economy has slowed down thanks to our ineptitude and they cant afford to buy the crap they do want from us.

We are importing oil at record levels, making our import/export ratio even more fucked up.

Unemployement numbers are through the fucking roof, posted results again today, records since WWII or worse, 20,000 plus job lay offs TODAY alone. I personally know three people that got laid off TODAY alone. How many people do you know that got laid off???

i'm going to try some new subjects for my blog soon...
